Re: Hum on Rockerverb RV50C MKI
sometimes trolls look so smart  Yes, I can kill the hum by switching off the amp, too. BTW, the hum hasn't gone and in fact is much more frequent. I'll turn it back to the tech after our next gig - I'm affraid I have no replacement for it and i can't not afford not having it for the date-. ...

Re: Countdown To Live Streaming Of A New World First Top Sec
Of course it doesn't bias your amp for you but DIVO does and for some the combination of both will be attractive. Then you can sort out similar valve sets and just bung them in to your DIVO'ed up amp. Which is fine if you want them all running very closely matched. I'd still like to know if there i...

Am I the only one who thinks this was one big bluff?
In shakespeare words, too much ado about nothing (for the regular orange client, IMO).

Re: "revolutionary, groundbreaking innovation"
I don't see ANY thing related to ,iphone/ipad apps + guitar too much groundbreaking by now. My guess is also this will be something DIVO-related or DIVO-ish, which BTW I think was pretty impressive and one of the very rare real "improvements" to a more than 50 years old technology. A real old-meets-...

Re: Hum on Rockerverb RV50C MKI
Yes indeed. In fact he told me the original valve was ok but replaced it to give the clean channel a cleaner sound (can't remember the brand).

Re: Hum on Rockerverb RV50C MKI
Yesterday during band rehearsal I didn't notice any particular noise. The only -and not very likely to be relevant - difference was my bandmate didn't bring his strat so he played with my gretsch. Of course I'm talking about "his" rig, not mine... So, I went today by my own to the rehearsal space an...

Re: Hum on Rockerverb RV50C MKI
I've tried several guitars and to this point several cables (in fact, one cable stright to the amp, to reduce probabilities). The funny thing is it only happens in the clean channel. I do not usually play superloud and the gain pot of the dirty channel seldom overpasses 12 o'clock, so it's not a mat...

Re: Hum on Rockerverb RV50C MKI
My slightly-overweighted-baby is back home... My tech was playing the whole weekend with it and he couldn't find where the bacon is being coocked... So tonight I'm back to the rehearsal room. It's kind of annoying but I guess there's no other answer but this might be installation-related. What I don...

Re: Noises on my new Orange Crush 30R (Video)
Hola Gonza, I've seen your post in the guitarrista forum, so yeah, another spanish fella here. Ask the retailer first of all, as with any other purchase they should give you a guaranteed product... I mean, despite the fact this is a non-continued model, you bought it new from the shop, hence their p...

Yeah, I dig non-typical-but-still-elegant shapes ...
They define the body as "reverse strat" but it looks "fatter" than a strat IMO!

Re: NGD: Eastwood sidejack DLX
Not a 4 figure axe??????? Surely it can't be good? XD Don't get me wrong... I wouldn't mind to have one or two '59 les pauls, hahaha... But I feel kind of embarrased talking about this guitar after seeing the kind of gear some forum fellas have... Said that, I love to have the chance ...

Re: NGD: Eastwood sidejack DLX
I used to run a small Eastwood & DiPinto dealership here in the UK - if there were any small items missing (rarely) then a quick email to Mike and they would be here in a jiffy. Assuming the customer service hasn't changed you'll soon get the missing cap. Could never get on with the snot coloured t...

Yes, I know this ain't a 4-figures axe, but well, it has the looks and I'm loving the sound as well as some very nice features, like a please-pull-gently-tremolo bar and shielded circuitry you wouldn't expect in a guitar this price. Only caveat is the tremolo bar didn't have the plastic cap you can ...

Re: Orange FS-1 foot-switch inquiry...
As long as I'm concerned, it's a regular latch type footswitch...
No special features or caveats.
Oh, and ... welcome!

Ooooh, I just got back to normal by going to the user control panel --> board preferences and clicking on 610nm for my board style. :D :D :D Helicopter diverted! Andy. Thanks!
