Wow ! I would have said STrat....But I have collected and played hundreds of guitars over the years and absolutely "hands down" the most versitile guitar I have ever played is my Jap Charvel/Jackson Model 3 - H-s-s on a pickguard w/Kahler trem - awesome! It can do it all, jazz, rock, metal, country....

So does this "warm up" the effects signal? Does it "boost" the effects signal? What are the advantages or disadvantages to having this in an effects loop? Do any other amplifiers use this?

I am beyond a newbee.....I am still cking Orange out, as I am searching for the "right" amp and now-a-days, this is a "serious investment" ! My question is regarding the "tube driven effects loop, how is this different from other efx loops in other amps? How does this "tube driven..." change things ...

Two Fender Strats (both customized - very early Jap/korean Squire's), 3 Charvel model 3's, one Charvel Model 7, one Charvel Model 2, one Charvel Fusion and one Performance Strat. The Fender Strats and the Charvel Model 3's are the steady workhorses.
