Re: EarthQuaker Monarch Overdrive
I just got this the other day actually, and have been running it through the natural channel of my Rocker 30. Doesn't sound exactly like the OR120 I've played, but it definitely has some orange vibe. Very aggressive, and very sensitive to picking dynamics. The main downsides I've sound are that unit...

Dude. Very well crafted songs, and I dig the garagey vibe. Incredible tone too, I love that type of guitar sound. What guitar did you use on this?

I dig it dude. It's cool to see something different out there from all the LP's and Tele's. I bet it sounds pretty great too.

Looks like I'm going to need to sell some pedals to fund the GAS.
In all seriousness, I think I laughed at that way longer than I should have.

Re: Anyone tested the Rocker 30 with different Speakers?
The best sound I ever got out of my Rocker was through a 4x12 with greenbacks. The WGS green berets sound pretty great as well. If only I could justify using a 4x12...

Looks great and cool artwork! What's that based on? Is it a fixed type wah pedal? The aztec gold Jazzmaster looks quite slick as well, looking for one in that color currently. And did you request that pedal from Neil? Does he have a website or anything? I've seen quite a few of his pedals around her...

Re: AC30 (1962) or AD50 head?
If you like the sounds of the AD30, then the AD50 would probably be right up your alley. However, I would chose the AC30 if it's a real 1962. Seems like a pretty rare opportunity, and those old Vox's sound fantastic! It would give you a little different flavor from your AD30 as well, and perhaps you...

Plenty loud, unless you play super clean. Not my first choice for math rock, but I prefer a pretty pristine clean for that.

Haha, no to both unfortunately. I would love one of their old amps, and I think I could die content if I had been a member. The picture is just one I found somewhere, and I'm just a guy who digs their music.jord123 wrote:hey gtrarmy, did you buy one of fugazi's old amps or are you a former member?

Didn't dig it that much with my Rocker 30. Sounded pretty magical with my friend's plexi though.
