My cousin was going to go for a MAG head and cab but he ended up with an ABM combo cos it had a much better sound. I played the MAG when I was looking at amps and wasn't overly keen. I bought an ABM300 head which rocks!

Look at ex dem Ashdown amps, you can usually get them for a fraction of the price. They are quality amps. As for a bass, I have a Washburn ABT Force 4 and I love it. Reasonable price, amazing sound
