Re: Deluxe Electric Mistress v5 compatible power supply

I have had one of those EH pedals for years. I had thought about modding it for some more versatility too (there are mod sites out there) but having looked inside I decided that if things did not go as planned I would end up with a dead metal box. I made a post in another thread talking about how I...

Re: Deluxe Electric Mistress v5 compatible power supply

... true tone products are pretty solid. That's been my experience with them so far. No noise outta the One Spot that I bought to use with my black Fulltone MDV1 dejavibe. Got a 4 or 5 plug daisy-chain to power other pedals without batteries, and it did make my EHX Pitchfork noisy. But once I put t...

Re: Deluxe Electric Mistress v5 compatible power supply

But then I'll need a gooseneck lamp to go over it so I can see it in the dark. And if I'm gonna do that, might as well add a mini fridge and a Jagermeister tap to the board too, I might get thirsty. Maybe a Mr Coffee coffeemaker for those early morning gigs. If someone could assure me that every pla...

Re: Deluxe Electric Mistress v5 compatible power supply

I do have the adapter. But I was hoping to power everything from just one power supply. New to the pedalboard thing, so... are you talking about doing something like zip-tying a 5-outlet power strip under the board and just using the adapter? I kinda figured I'd be forced to do something like that i...

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!

The Chorus Ensemble I'm not too sure will be permanent. It doesn't sound as different from the Mistress flanger as it might need to in order to make it necessary. The Marshall Vibratrem might go too, but it'll probably get replaced with some other Tremolo pedal. I didn't know it until AFTER I bought...

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!

I don't have a pedalboard yet . But I have plenty of crap to put on one. For funsies, I did up a guitar magazine style routing diagram for my setup the other day. It doesn't include ALL my pedals, just the most important ones and how I think I might arrange them once I find a board (or boardsssss - ...

I don't wanna get political, but I believe a lot of the "issues" and "problems" people perceive about the world these days are exacerbated by an over-valued sense of faith in what happens on soci...

Deluxe Electric Mistress v5 compatible power supply

http://focalor.tastyspleen.net/forumpics/EHX_Deluxe_Electric_Mistress_flanger.jpg Bought a used Deluxe Electric Mistress off the web several months ago. It's a v5 model, made sometime between 2000 and whenever they finally stopped making the old gigantic-sized analog ones. The XO sized green label ...

Re: Baritone guitars....

A lefty tele strung righty? So that wins for oddest thing I've seen in a while. I suppose a baritone tele would be good for this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvZ5E5_Uuik I always thought that was one of the coolest sounds I ever heard from the country music realm. I've attempted to approxi...

Re: Hey Bass Players!

The Bass Butler could be a decent guitar pedal too Maybe. I tinker with a bass a tad. I have a little Fender Rumble 100 1x12 combo, and it's a great little bass amp, but it's pretty damn good with a guitar too. Almost sounds like it has some kind of compression thing going on like tubes even though...

Re: Has anyone tried a 12at7 preamp tube dirt ch rocker 15 terror head ?

My Rockerverb 100 mk3 has 6 preamp tubes total: 12AX7's: 1 for stages 1&2 clean chan., 1 for stages 1&2 dirty chan., 1 for stages 3&4 dirty, 1 for phase inverter. 12AT7's: 1 for FX loop, 1 for reverb So I'm assuming they used 12AT7's in those two spots because they are cleaner and less prone to over...

Re: New cab day!

Niiiiiiiiice. Wish I could find one of those. Those speakers rated at 50w a piece? I've been considering getting some secondary open-back cab, like a 2x10 or 2x12 for home recording where I put one mic in front and one INSIDE the back of the cab. Never tried it before, but it's an idea I've had for ...

Re: Name That Effect

Okay, so let's call this "PART 2" of the Name That Effect thread. I recently bought myself a lightly used EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger, one of the old wide-cased brushed steel looking things. It's one of the later "Version 5" models before they stopped making the old ones, the ones with NO t...

What happened to Americaspedal.net?

Like the subject line say... Wha happa!!!??!?! It was a great one-stop shopping page for all information related to old DOD pedals, and quite a handy tool for someone like me who's constantly scouring the Guitar Center site for good deals on old DOD pedals. I don't frequent other guitar forums (alth...

Satch's pedalboard Yeah, the one I saw was a little different and had a newer model XO sized MicroPOG. http://focalor.tastyspleen.net/forumpics/joe-satriani-pedalboard-2018.jpg Saw that here: https://guitargearfinder.com/guides/the-ultimate-guide-to-joe-satriani-tone-gear-and-effects/ In the pic yo...
