Re: Question concerning my Marshall DSL100H + Cab, and Orange CR120H
The CR 120 is a great amp. When you look at the back of it you will see two 1/4 inch jack sockets for speaker connections. The left socket is for use with either one 8 ohm cab or one 16 ohm cab. The right socket is for use with two 16 ohm cabinets. Now then..........this is the point that is confusi...

Re: AD 140 Lead
The volume and gain are to blame.......when gain is up nothing heard until volume turned up, similarly, when volume is up nothing heard until the gain is moved. A screeching noise can be heard in addition to the 'radioman tuning in'

AD 140 Lead
My AD 140 Lead has started to develop some weird noises. The noises remind me of some old john wayne war film where the duke instructs the radioman to contact HQ for support. The radioman frantically searches for the correct frequency and we hear all those whooping and swooping sounds.......my amp m...

4x12 cab wiring
Has anyone got a PHOTO of the STANDARD wiring of an Orange 4x12 cab. I've opened up mine to replace a damaged speaker. But looking at the wiring it appears thus..... Bottom speakers....left + (positive) connected to right - (negative) with orange wire.....Then left -(negative) connected to black wir...

Re: Tonight my AD30 HTC sounded....... Great!
OK recently I've been very lazy ..... The last few gigs I've done I've taken the Rocker 15 terror... Sounded good, used the effects loop, job done but for no particular reason as I bought it for a backup, apart from it was a lot lighter .. Yep definitely lazy, but tonight I took my Ad30htc No effec...

Re: What is your first weapon of choice with Orange Amps?
I'm quite addicted to the sound my John Birch SG custom makes when plugged into my Crush RT 20 practice amp when at home. Such a sweet compressed tone that I find hard to replicate through my Rocker 30 Yeah, the R30 doesn't compress much at all. Don't you have a RV50 too? That one compresses very n...

Re: Rocker 15 Terror static hum and pilot light flicker
The flickering pilot light would seem to suggest a momentary interruption of power supply? Start with the basic checks of wiring within the plug for a loose wire (obviously disconnected from power supply, get someone to check it if you don't know what you are doing!) The earthing of the guitar would...

Re: courier services
Thanks Duke.....I've won 2 cases in the small claims court before. The most important thing is the presentation of evidence in a clear and concise manner without embellishments or suppositions. It'll cost about £40 to initiate a claim and approximately £80 if it goes to a hearing. All recoverable co...
