Re: Valves

Thanks ever so much for all your information and time to reply to me it's much appreciated. I think though for me it would be a safer option to buy off of Watford valve's. It's a much simpler process as I've got no experience with valves at this stage I suppose it's like anything having a few differ...

Re: Valves

That's good to know as it was looking expensive,
I think I get a set from Watford valve's to put inside my amp and just put the factory ones out the way for spares..

Re: Volume

Thanks Oliver I've got the clean on the lowest setting & have the dirty volume & gain on 12oclock.
I'm using the clean more but I was just checking this was normal as I didn't want to have a faulty amp....
It just seems weird the volumes are so drastically different... .

Re: Valves

Thanks for the information. I read it on orange website & I was thinking it going to be a expensive practice giving it a yearly valve service... Derek's at Watford valve's a really knowledgeable helpful guy so probably will give him a call tomorrow. But not up on valves I just thought I'd see what's...

Valves

I've never realised that the valve's are recommended to be changed yearly..... I've got a Rocker15 Terror so where and what are best. When I had my AC4C1-12 I purchased a speaker & valve kit from Derek at Watford valve's. I've noticed he's got 2 valve kits one says cleaner sound using Harma's which ...

Re: Volume

Cheers for that. I ended up with orange by accident as I got myself a marshall DSL20 and the shop didn't have any vertical marshall 2X12 cabs so It was a toss up between a victory with vintage 30's or orange 212ppcV so went for orange as i preferred the weight reduction & the sound of the cream back...

Re: Volume

Thanks for putting my mind at rest as I love the clean channel and will be using it most with my Wampler tumnus but wasn't to sure that having to wind the volume and gain to half to get the same volume as the first marker on the clean channel was normal .....

Volume

Good evening, I'm after some help as I've recently purchased a rocker 15 terror what ended up having a issue with loss of volume and a clean channel having distortion after a day. So I've received my replacement and noticed that the clean channel is nice and loud I have it on bedroom level & half po...
