Re: Rockerverb 50 MKIII DARK
The volume is normally around noon, attenuator around 12:30. I rolled some NOS Amperex 12AX7’s in spots 1/2, then tung sols in 3/4. Definitely brightened it up some. It was much darker before.

Rockerverb 50 MKIII DARK
You guys who have this amp- is yours pretty dark? My clean channel is set to 3 o’clock treble and probably 9 o’clock bass and it’s still pretty dark. Similar but not as extreme on the gain channel. Did you roll preamp tubes? Which ones might brighten it a bit? I’ve run it in 3-4 different cabs with ...

Burned HT fuse in my Rockerverb III
She just popped and that was it! The HT fuse burned up. Which one does the 50 watt amp use- the 630 mA/250V or 1.6 A/250V? Want to make sure before I put one in. I can’t see what’s on the burned one. I’m in the US if outlet voltage matters. Got a matched pair of el34’s ready to roll. Thanks!

Re: Rockerverb Alternative?
The dual terror doesn’t have an FX loop. The Rocker Terror 15 does as does the Brent Hinds. I’ve owned both and preferred the Rocker more. I’m considering selling it as I have to many amps that I play more.

Re: Excessive noise TH-30 Head
Thanks for the suggestions! I swapped around preamp tubes and power tubes and the amp simply lost volume on both channels and I couldn’t get it fixed with any of my tubes. Off to the amp tech it went today!

Excessive noise TH-30 Head
I got this head a few weeks ago and it was pretty quiet, especially on the clean channel. Now it it has become quite noisy of late on clean and more on dirty (expected since higher gain). I changed out the preamp tubes, but that didn’t help. Would the power tubes be the culprit? I don’t have 4 match...

Rocker 32 speaker question
I love to experiment with different speakers in my amps. Before I buy anything- what ohm value is each 10” speaker in the 32? Are they each 16 or 8?

Re: NAD- Rocker 32
Eenybear is correct- it takes pedals very well. It also sounds great on its own. Definitely got the Orange vibe going on!

NAD- Rocker 32
Got a really nice deal on this compared to what I’ve seen on reverb and eBay. It’s not my first Orange (I own the Rocker 15 and Hinds Terror). Just hooked my effects up in stereo through the loop and it sounds awesome. I did have some staticy/whispery noises coming through though. I rolled some new ...
