What Made You Choose ORANGE?

Out of the many options for amplification, what made you land on Orange? For me, it was seeing a few of my favorite bands use them with great success. Dropkick Murphys, Presidents of the United States of America, Hot Water Music, Eagles of Death Metal, MxPx, Against Me!, PUP, the Bronx, Cluth, Face ...

Re: I think I'll pull the trigger on Rocker 30 head

Good to hear that, and you did not help me with G.A.S right now! I'm going to try it tomorrow, I'll share my impressions! Yeah, let us know what you think. The clean channel is limited, but does well within it's limitations. It's voiced pretty nicely, and breaks up (pure power valve overdrive then)...

Re: Thoughts on expanding Orange Amps collection

Just a fun suggestion,

Grab a Dark Terror and run it mono with your Tiny Terror.

I think that would be a sweet rig, running into both amps at once. Do you have 2 cabs? Preferably with two 4x12's!!!!

Re: Dual Dark "Booster"

I have a Rocker 30 and went down the "boost" rabbit hole. Tried lots of options including a TS9, SD1, EQD Palisades, J Rockett Archer, Klon KTR, MXR Distortion +, RAT, Yellowcake Furry Burrito, Walrus Voyager, Walrus Mayflower, JHS Morning Glory... and a few others I can't recall. I ended up with an...

Re: New Amp... Rockerverb 50 MKi VS Rocker 30

Yeah, it would seem that either one would be a swell choice. Currently, I'm playing a Tiny Terror head. I love most of what it's giving me. Just need more power and a better EQ control. The level of gain from the TT is perfect. I just want something that cuts and stays tight that I can crank up and ...

New Amp... Rockerverb 50 MKi VS Rocker 30

Making the choice on a new amp head this weekend. It's between a Rockerverb 50 MKI and a Rocker 30. Both can be had for about the same price. I play in a loud alternative rock/punk rock band. I don't use effects, other than a tuner and a Boss NS2 (if needed). I play dirty 90% of the time. There are ...

New Cab for new Dark Terror

Greetings! I'm about to take delivery of an Orange Dark Terror. I've been looking for a lower wattage high gain head to jam all my 90's punk rock songs. Tried a bunch and the Dark Terror seemed to fit with me the best. Now I require a cabinet! I will be taking all my gear to gigs and rehearsals. So ...

Re: NAD tomorrow. Probably. Orange DT

Glad you found an amp that works for you! I love my Dual Terror. While I do hope to own a Rockerverb one day, the DT covers everything I need in an amp. Plus, it's super portable and the power scaling makes it even more versatile!
