Re: 7w/15w, what's the difference?

Doubling the power from 7 to 15 watts will increase the volume +/- 3 db.

Re: DEFINITIVE ORANGE GUIDE TO: Overdrive/Boost/Dist/Fuzz Pedals

WHICH ORANGE AMP DO YOU USE? AD50 CS atop PPC112 X 2. WHICH OVERDRIVE PEDALS WORK BEST FOR YOU? Mad Professor hand wired Sweet Honey Overdrive & Xotic BB both used very judiciously to add just the right amount of filth. REASONS FOR YOUR CHOICE: These were what I could afford at the time and have jus...

Re: Always on pedals - your thoughts?

Always on... Strymon El Capistan, set for a little slap back, Strymon Flint with a smattering of 60's reverb, Keeley Compressor S & L both set @ 9:00 O'Clock, or thereabout. For dirt, I switch between JHS Bolt and Sweet Honey OD, or the two in combination. I run my amp relatively clean. I Play count...

Re: STRINGS! what do you use?

As of late, I've been experimenting with D'Addario's NY XL 10/46. I do a lot of bends and generally play the snot out of them, I usually get 4, maybe 5 shows out of a set. When they do go South they seem to go really flat above the 12th fret on the E & B. I do have very corrosive sweat and strings t...

Re: Micro Dark correct Headphones behaviour

I'm relatively sure you have to disconnect the speaker in order to isolate the headphones.
Just be sure to remember and plug the speaker in if headphones are not in plugged in.

Re: switching between high and low inputs on OTR

I'm sure that would work just fine, but I also think the volume knob on your instrument would work just as well, if not better.

Re: Which is your favourite Orange amp?

I'm lucky enough to own an AD50 Custom Shop (built by Ade Emsley), played through a PPC112 x 2
that I absolutely love to bits. I play old rock and some country and the setup is pretty near perfect.
I also have an OR15H for smaller venues, but it's not quite the same.

Re: Octa Switch + TH-30 loop

I would try the Octa Switch in the loop and your guitar plugged into the front of the amp.

Re: Casters for my cab

Wouldn't it roll easier if the casters were on the bottom?

Please refer to post #2. I had the exact same thing happen to me. Mine ended up in the dumpster.
Sorry about that.

Re: Anyone order from Loop-Master recently???

Just for the record, I was at no time rude or impolite in my dealings with Loopmaster.
Had we been able to resolve the matter amicably, I'm sure my response to Dark Helmet's inquiry
would have reflected that.

Re: Anyone order from Loop-Master recently???

I ordered a looper from them. When it arrived one of the switches was bent so badly it caused
the top to cave in. One channel did not work, and the led colors were not what I requested
in my order. When notified about the problems it somehow became my fault. Crappy service,
crappy product. IMHO.
