Re: Looks like the perfect car to move your Orange gear!

Well, I applaud you sir. As for me not moving around big gear, I will confess to it more likely the results of my being very skilled at laziness and not actually age.

Re: Looks like the perfect car to move your Orange gear!

Oh, I wanted to add that even if I did have a vehicle that could easily transport full rigs like those around, I'm not sure I'd even want to. Approaching 57 this summer, I don't have the strength nor the desire to lug around large heavy gear. As stated I prefer a small rig setup consisting of an all...

Re: Looks like the perfect car to move your Orange gear!

That is cool but you still find a need nowadays for a full stack? Sorry, maybe I've been away from the pro side of playing guitar for far to long a time, at most I just have occasional jam out sessions with friends from time to time where a lunchbox amp head paired with a 112 cab and a modest pedalb...

Re: Looks like the perfect car to move your Orange gear!

With milk crates of computer accessories & tools I keep in the trunk as a self employed IT Computer guy, I have to place all my musical gear in the back seat when I go to jam with friends, including my Marshall 412 if I'm planning to take that cab with me. When I first got it, I was scratching my he...

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!

Update to earlier posts with pictures of my pedalboards...no more big heavy cumbersome crowded pedalboards. Built 3x lightweight, flat, simple, small boards with the Pedaltrain Nano Plus. They each have my 5x of my "Bare Essentials" on them. All but 3x boutique brands have been sold, traded, given a...

Re: Dirt on Rockerverb 50 Mkiii vs Brent Hinds Terror?

Sorry, haven't been on the forum in such a long time. Not sure if any of this is still relevant but to answer your question, of the 5x Terrors I had around that time, I only have one left now, the Rocker 15 Terror. I had gotten so used to playing thru a 2-channel amp, clean & crunch, that I seldom u...

Re: Orange Amps &/E.Q Pedals

Finally, after much self-debate, very recently I went thru a downsizing of my 3 pedalboards not so much for any financial reasons but more so for an attempt to streamline them for a cleaner tone and less weight and size, less FX pedals meant less patch cabling and reduced power requirements. I do th...

Re: What Made You Choose ORANGE?

For me it was just the darker warmth natural tone of an all tube amp in a portable well built lunchbox frame which made it all the more practical nowadays. The moment I first heard an Orange, the Dark Terror, around 5 years ago being played thru a Marshall 412 at a local Guitar Center, I was instant...

Re: Using The 7 Watt Side Of Terrors

I have 4x Terrors; Rocker 15, Brent Hinds, Jim Root, & Dark Terror. I almost never use anything other than the 15W side on all of them. When jamming with my ole' buddies once or twice a month with volume upwards near 3o'clock to daily practicing at home at volumes lower around 7o'clock.
