Thanks for replies. Yes, it strikes me that it was a shop display item. The box it was in was not marked in any way and it was about six times the size of the item. And they sent me the wrong finish. I ordered the black tolex. I'm gonna have it returned. Why can't anyone do anything properly anymore...
