Re: NAD - no more Orange

So here´s a little video with my new Tweed Super Amp. Nothing special but it shows some sounds of the amp with the T-Rex Soulmate in front of it.

Re: NAD - no more Orange

I'm not using that much gain at all, like classic rock stuff , Deep Purple for example. A lot of stuff I'm playing is only a little bit crunchy. So I'm using a T-Rex Soul Mate in front of the amp while the amp is running at the breakup level between clean and crunch.

Re: OR15 loud enough to gig?

Has anyone gigged small to medium sized bars with an OR15 and an Orange 2x12 without a mic? Not with the OR 15, but with the Dual Terror turned down to 15 or even 7 watts. For real small venues I choosed a 1x12 and it was definitely loud enough so I think the power of a OR15 is more than enough for...

NAD - no more Orange

Hi guys, I received the message, that my new amp is ready to pick it up. It´s a clone of a 5F4 Tweed Super Amp with 2x10 speakers (Weber alnico and ceramic mix). For years and years I had the imagination of a special amp sound in my head but I never thought that it`s the sound of a tweed style amp b...

Re: TC ELECTRONIC NOVA SYSTEM

I also had one years before in front of a JTM 45 clone and while it worked good (I also used the integrated drive sounds) I found out that I get better results with one or two booster/od and delay stompboxes in Front of the amp so I returned to a classical pedalboard.

Re: Orange goes Clapton

Thx :) . Indeed, the cab is very useful. The diffusor reduces the beaming while the sidefills give you a very wide sound. The venue where we played there is for about 30 people, and with this cab you get the same sound almost everywhere in the room. In case you didn't see it: English version https:/...

Orange goes Clapton

Hi folks, two examples why I love my Dual Terror for the classic rock thing. This is a small venue so I played it at 7.5 watts through a small 1x12 cab loaded with a Celestion V-Type. https://youtu.be/1Oil4c3mk0Y https://youtu.be/Ft_O7kwtvww The cab is very special, take a look at https://www.tube-t...

Re: Need recommendations for lunchbox amp w/ most clean headroom

The Dual Terror is definitely loud enough clean and works very well with pedals. If you´re running it as a clean amp, you don´t need the fx-loop. Put your delays, reverbs and modulations after the drive pedals and everything should work.

Re: NGD - a real beauty

No problems at all. The first two are the volumes for the pups, I like it to have them nearer because I often use them.

Re: Gig with JRT.

Thx for your report. What is it that makes the JRT better than the DT? I'm playing music in the same style and I'm very satisfied with my Dual Terror.

Round about one year. I don't use it very intensive, only for some slapback or sometimes for the leads. But it sounds killer

Re: Best speaker/amp for bedroom jamming?

Rocker 15. Has a bedroom setting :D Yep, I'd be tempted to say that even without trying it. :D What I do have and use (believe it or not) is the Blackstar Fly Bass mini combo (3W) + mini powered extension cab (3W more). Well okay for acoustic level bass practice, but for electric guitar - phenomena...
