Re: A NAMM observation, what do you reckon is next for orang
Nah, just get an AD30TC and mod the channels the same. Switch between settings. :o It'll probably be discontinued soon though. My point is sort of like, the TH30 has the Rockerverb dirty channel in, albeit with the shape control but It's got a 30watt cathode biased EL84 output. If I had the choice a...

Re: A NAMM observation, what do you reckon is next for orang
I'd say the market has a lot of lower to medium wattage amps. Especially in that 15 to 25 watt region. The 0.5watt and up area may still be a bit open but since a real tube amp at that power would probably have the same parts as a 15watt amp I think pricing such things can be hard. I've also never f...

Re: A NAMM observation, what do you reckon is next for orang
Good points but I don't know how true that is. Peavey and Mesa are two more companies that have done small amps that are loaded with features. Suhr have the Corso. Soldano have the Hot Rod 25. Everyone has dipped a toe in the lunchbox game. Orange itself still has the Dark Terror, OR15, Jim Root and...

Re: Thunderverb 200 no sound
The T15A is probably on the filament winding. The heater current of all the tubes however should be way below 15A or 12.5A. I don't think that fuse is really doing all that much. If the HT shorted to that winding, maybe flashing over inside one of your output valves, then I guess that fuse might blo...

Yo.
Have you tried [email protected]? I've used that address before and usually got a quick response. The Orange website did have some message about email trouble on it a few weeks ago. Maybe give it another shot?

Re: Tiny Terror Documentary
I think the cost is fairly reasonable given there are only 110 in the world and it's for both the amp and cab together. I bet the 2x10 will sound so much better than the old TT combos too. I also don't expect a MkII. The TT won't ever be made with a loop as it relies on driving the EL84's for distor...

Re: OR15 hum/buzz
Yo. Could still be the 12AT7 in the loop as the input jack mutes half of that valve. As the hum is louder with a guitar plugged in, it might suggest this is a potential issue or that some hum is present elsewhere in the preamp (getting in before the mute point at the loop). The amp certainly won't h...

Re: OR15 hum/buzz
Sorry. I replied in the other thread before spotting this one. Do you know which tubes got replace? Was it all of them? Have you tried using different power outlets in your studio or house? I bought a new amp and it had 50Hz hum in my house and it drove me crazy, then I plugged it straight into the ...

Re: OR15 - constant 50hz hum
Hello, Just wanted to say I'm new here and while I don't own an OR15, I do have a Tiny Terror and a Micro Terror, and an awesome Crush 20RT as well actually... I do have some experience with the OR15 and may be able to help. The hum noise in Moonstone's clip is most likely caused by the FX loop 12AT...
