Name some of those alternatives Id like to know. Reverb, ebay and craigslist is all I know.

Not this amp, I wouldn't play it without the pedal.

I like a Boss SD-1 as a clean boost in mine, I dial the tone knob all the way up to brighten the overall tone too.

Got a brand spanking new MK III. Absolutely stunning clean channel and a very nice on board reverb. Not sure yet about the stepped controls but i am sure i will adapt to them. Throw a treble booster in front of your TV50 to cut through the mix, it may give your new MK III a run for its money. I bet...

Well seeing that the stock VOTW speaker in the CR series amps is based off the V30 I would think you have a good plan. You might consider buying a pair of V30's used, save you some money and they'll already be broken in.

I'm thinking solid state for the rare occasion you need a backup, Id get a CR120 head, it is based off the Rockerverb preamp and light weight.

Sorry guys I hate the shape knob. At a minimum Id want bass and treble like the Rockerverb.

Get the 35, its got a bigger speaker and sounds better.
