Since it seems to be a common response that the ad30 is much more compressed than the rocker 30. Does anyone have experience with the two amps that has ran a compression pedal on the rocker 30 ? If so does that make it more similar to the ad30 ????

The AD30 is just brilliant at low gain settings. The channel 1 is amazing at those edge of break tones, and the gain increase is very gradual, making it super easy to add the gain you need. Let us know your full review of the Marshall 1936. I personally like the look of an orange head with a Marshall cab. I currently have a blackstar cab with my rocker 30.

Actually I would say that the seventy 80's in this blackstar are not really broken in because the cab is brand new. I have had at home play with it but not really cranked gig levels.
