Re: AD200 Bass for Guitar?
You would be well advised to not try to put KT88's in an AD200B MkI. Unlike the MkIII it has the same size head case as the AD140 and so can only fit narrow bottle tubes like the stock 6550s. From what I understand you can actually fit the KT88s in but because the glass is nearly touching you risk ...

Re: When purchasing tubes online...
I got them through Amazon, the boxes were bubble wrapped and padded inside the shipping box. This actually happened in the Groove Tubes box due to the tubes being able to shift out of the slots in the cardboard packaging. I contacted Groove Tubes directly and they already responded saying they'll se...

I'll def...

Turns out it's got Eminence C12GHD's. I researched them and found it was an '81 model, 75 watts at 8 ohms with a big f...

Re: AD200 Bass for Guitar?
I know this topic died within 3 days, but I'd like to put my two cents in - I'm using a MK1 AD200 for guitar, running it through a mid 60's Fender Bandmaster 2x12 cab. To be perfectly honest, even on bass, I've had better overall sound out of that 2x12 than I ever did out of my Ampeg 4x10. I play tu...
