Awesome, thanks! Didn't notice that bit in the .PDF manual for the TremLord.

Waiting on my TremLord 30... Anyone else? Bias type?

Pre-ordered a black one for myself on 2/1 after a week or so trying to convince myself to wait on a head version  I already built myself a compact 3 button footswitch for it (that I hopefully didn't screw up on...)a few weeks ago when they had me expecting it to show up around Valentine's day: ...

Re: Help a brotha out?

The outro solo in Bold As Love gives me goosebumps and misty eyes at least half the time I actively listen to it.

Pretty much any of John McGlaughlin's work w/ Miles Davis is completely mind blowing to me, but good luck figuring most of them out.

Re: Orange Terror bass Or Ampeg Portaflex for a punk band?

My PF-500 seems rock solid but then it doesn't get used a whole lot. It doesn't have the most character or drive available, but seems to put out plenty of volume and sounds good through an Eden 2x10 and 1x12 stack, if a bit generic. Works really well paired up w/ the OR50/PPC212 for the driven sound...

Re: Small Amp GAS

My favorite ~5W tube combo is still my Class 5 combo (I want to get one of the heads as well but unfortunately have been tapped out whenever I run into them). I replaced the speaker w/ a G10M and it has a great vintage Plexi-ish sound. I just grabbed a Micro Terror over the weekend and so far am rea...

NG&AD! :D

I wound up grabbing a Micro Terror on Saturday and am really liking it so far. It got a great trashy crunch sound and not too shabby of a clean tone either w/ a surprising degree of flexibility especially when swapping different cabs. Can't beat the portability or price either. It's got plenty of vo...

Re: Recommended me a Tele bridge pickup !

APTL1 would probably be a bad choice for you. I love it because it's the closest to D Boon's sound I've found but would probably have more twang and about the same output as the Broadcaster in any Tele I've tried it in. A touch more beef in the low mids as well, but definitely more twang. Maybe the ...

Re: Recommended me a Tele bridge pickup !

My go to is the SD APTL1. Unequalled clarity out of what I've tried w/o sounding too sterile; great twang, spank, and punch; nice moderate output; not too horribly expensive. I really like the JBE Gatton T Bridge I've got in my Deluxstom as well, but it doesn't quite provide the tele sound that I've...

Re: NPD: Xotic SL Drive

Sorry it didn't work out for you. Mine works great goosing my OR15 (and basically every other amp I've tried it through), and is the best vintage plexi sim pedal I've used (much better in this role than a DLS or BoR IMO), but you're right that it's not going to do other flavors of OD. I also never r...

Grats! I love my Baja (a black and yellow burst) and the rest of my Tele family! It's got this great bounce to the action, I love the fat neck, and it's got this unique sort of clanky character.

Re: 1975 Fender Super Twin Referbish, Worth it?

For a sale, I'd sell it as is personally, whether it plays currently or not. From what I've seen, I wouldn't be too confident that you'd make your money back. If you're doing the work yourself then it's probably a better bet to go ahead w/ the overhaul, assuming you know what you're doing and enjoy ...

Re: 4x12 Cabinet choices

Disclaimer: I've only test driven one used 5150 4x12 w/ my OR15. But, given that, I'd say expect expect more lows and low mids w/ a bit more detail across the board.

Re: Dirt pedals for a loose/spongey tone

SL drive is another great little pedal, probably one of my favorite Plexi sim boxes. It's got a huge range of adjustment for being as tiny as it is. Definitely worth checking one out if you're in the market for a vintage Marshall voiced drive pedal IMO

Re: OT: When is it time to record an EP?

My approach has always been to do any music for fun/satisfaction derived from the experience itself but that's a large part of why I no longer earn a living doing anything related to it. Given that you have gear/software you're happy with I think recording is definitely worth it whether it amounts t...
