Re: TH30 Combo and Celestion Gold Question

Thanks. I believe you're correct. There appears to be ample space for the larger speaker bell.

TH30 Combo and Celestion Gold Question

Does anyone know if the Celestion Alnico Gold speaker will fit into a TH30 combo? The reason I ask is that the bell on the Alnico speakers is bigger/longer than the other Celestion speakers resulting in the tubes sometimes rubbing/hitting the speaker bell in some amp combos (Fender). Celestion alnic...

Re: How do you string your acoustics?/

Bear in mind that this is simply my opinion. I've owned a couple of cheaper acoustics i.e. Washburn, Ovation etc. Last year I bought a Taylor 410 and never looked back. Unless you are going to buy a custom-made acoustic, you cannot do better than Taylor or Martin. All the Taylors in the "3" series a...

Scroll down about 3/4 of the page and there is a schematic showing the tube positions.

Re: OR15 signal flow

@GySgtFTL: no news yet, i am still waiting for the tubes - probably next week i will get them. I have tried a 5751 in V1 and it does loose some gain at the same gain pot position. But still for humbuckers it does not make a decisive change. For single coils i can get a good reasonably clean tone ev...

Re: OR15 signal flow

Any updates here? I've been thinking of trying a JAN Philips 5751 to see if I could get a slightly cleaner tone but have been "living vicariously" through your trials. Did the last tube-swap help?

thanks

Re: OR15 Cover

Strange. I just went to the Orange USA Webstore and although the OR15H headcover is listed in the dropdown box, there is no way to add it to the cart. It says "Notify me when available." This is the same as yesterday. Did you order from the US Site and did it allow you to add the cover to a cart for...

Re: OR15 Cover

I have been using a towel folded over it just to keep dust out of it. On the bright side though, I did get a response from a nice lady at Orange in Atlanta who told me that the cover is now listed on the USA site but alas, they are currently out of stock.

Re: OR15 Cover

I'm in the same boat here. I have sent three emails to Orange asking how or where I could purchase a cover for my OR15 but as of yet I've received no reply. Seems odd that the US would be left out of the loop and unable to purchase a cover that is clearly for sale everywhere else. I suppose I'll att...

Have you tried asking here?

There's more accumulated knowledge there regarding Les Pauls than even Gibson knows.

Re: Black vs Orange PPC cab with OR15H (shallow thread alert

Seems they are only available in the UK. The drop-down box for the US side does not even list them. Perhaps they will update it soon.

Re: Black vs Orange PPC cab with OR15H (shallow thread alert

Does anyone know if Orange makes a cover for the OR15h? I have looked at a few of the dealers and have been told that Orange does not make a cover to fit.
