Thank YOU for listening!a.hun wrote:Yeah again the vocals aren't my thing. (Sorry!) The rest all hangs together really well though - nicely done. Great sounds and mix. You did well on the drum programming too.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Rockerverb Death/Black Metal
I totally understand if certain aspects like the vocals are a turn off. This kinda thing isn't meant for everyone haha. For those who do like it, there are more songs in the works. I'm gonna try to incorporate more technicality in my guitar playing in other songs, I just don't want to take away fro...

Rockerverb Death/Black Metal
Recently finished a song with my buddy who does vocals and figured I'd share it with you fine folks. All the guitars are my LTD MH-250NT > Maxon OD808 > Rockerverb 100 MKI. Feel free to share your thoughts, I always welcome constructive criticism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYozwe0yqxQ" onclick...

Re: Orange PPC212 - Open back or closed back?
About the weight: I used to have a Peavey Valveking 212 Combo, it weighed 31kg, a very similar weight in comparison with the Closed back. It was heavy, but actually not something I couldn't deal with. I guess it was a major tone-upgrade from the Peavey? It's not outrageously heavy. I can still lift...

Re: Orange PPC212 - Open back or closed back?
I also used a Peavey Valveking 412 for quite a while. I ended up getting the closed back orange 212, and I'm super happy with it. I don't have much experience with the open back cabinets, but I'd imagine the palm mutes will still be accurate enough on either cab. I would also say that I don't think ...

Re: Where's the Rockerverb MkII love?
I've got an MKI that I got on the used market for pretty darn cheap. I love the amp to pieces but I'd never pay full price for a new one. Funny how polarizing the reverb seems to be on the RVs. I love it, but many others seem to really hate it. I totally agree with the sweet spot for gain being some...

Re: New Digipak Day!
Thanks guys! It's funny I always worry a little bit about posting stuff I've made. I never want it to come off as spam, I just get excited . We did it through Discmakers and we had to do the smallest batch which is 100 CDs. Cost about $400 including the CD Baby digital distribution stuff. Of co...

New Digipak Day!
My band's first album has been finished for well over a year, and we finally saved up some money to get our first physical CDs printed! I did the artwork with the help of a friend who did the inside cover (spaceships and portal). Unfortunately, the band is kind of on hiatus until our singer is out o...

Re: Mix test - Tele + Rockerverb content
Hey guys no vocals on this song yet, but I recently got a new camera and made a little playthrough video of the song if you guys are interested. No shots of my rockerverb in this video, but plenty of my tele and my messy room  Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOthfF8g2xQ&feature=yout...

Re: Recording/Songwriting WIPs
Hahaha one of my best friends is a fantastic drummer and also the drummer in a pop-punk/alternative band I'm in. I'd love to record him but the practice space we rent sounds AWFUL for drums, and recording studios are too much money for my broke a$$. As for funny drummer stories, my friend who I ment...

Dude...that´s föckin awesome!!! Please move too Sweden and let me be the singer!!!! Hahaha thanks! I should probably visit Sweden before I decide to move there  I've never been to any of Europe, but someday I'd love to visit. I did finally listen to this - it's very tight. Great sound. The dru...

Re: Recording/Songwriting WIPs
Trying. Never pulled off recording myself playing all parts. I've been taking drum lessons for a little over a year, so I'm almost to the point of being able to play drums along with my guitar parts. I'm hoping to have something up in the next month. We'll see if that ever comes true. 8) I wish you...

Recording/Songwriting WIPs
Who's writing/recording their own music out there? Figured I'd start a thread for people to post their work in progress and we could discuss tips and ideas involving songwriting, recording, and mixing. I'll start with a riff idea I recorded recently. Not sure where I'm going with it. https://soundcl...

I'm not really a believer in facebook popularity, but might as well throw my page in here right? Go to https://www.facebook.com/tizzermusic for self-taught, self-produced instrumental metal inspired by all sorts of metal and classic rock (but mostly the spacey, progressive kind). I try to post updat...
