I am going to try and Isolate the hum, may it a be an issue with the off/standby/on switch? because when I move it from standby to On there is a bit of crackle, scratching and thumping noise. Might be the input jack or the grounding.....

Back in July, I took the amp to a qualified tech and he found some issues in the heaters circuit.....fixed it but that didn't solve the problem. few visits to the tech with all of my gear , except the 4x12, and the amp seems to work fine when testing it at his workshop at a loud vo...

Okay so the amp decided to completely die. No glow in the power tubes and the power jewel (next to the On/Std?off) switch is not glowing, yet there is a glow in the pre amp tubes!
