Hope it help you

Re: Fortieth Anniversary Custom Shop "Michelle"
Cool looking (and most probably sounding) amp.
I know, it is a collector piece but almost 3.000 euros for a guitar amp ..?

Re: CR120
As an owner of a TH30 head, I first bought a CR120 head as a backup unit. Now, it sounds so amazing that I next used it as may main amp for gigs !!!

Re: Rocker 30 serial numbers
Congrats and keep it !!
I've recently changed my TH30 to a R30 head.
The only thing I can say: wooooh !!! what a difference, I couldn't believe it. I do not understand why Orange decided to discontinue it. Okay it has no reverb and no effect loop but it kicks ass without them. Impressive

Re: What OD pedal for my CR120H
I am boosting the dirty channel of my CR120 with a Moog MF Drive pedal (found for cheap as a 2nd hand) on a low gain setting.
That works perfectly for achieving a fat stoner-metal sound

Ahaha, enjoy these nice moments, you'll see in few years... kids idolize their parents for the first decade  My son has been playing electric guitar and he was going with me to gigs (eg, AC/DC) 'til the age of 15... now he's listening electronic stuff and he plays PS like the others... :( you ...

Re: Bax Bangeetar - just love it!
wow ! awesome comments !
For me it was not that clear how well it can work either in front or in the FX loop of any Orangey-voiced amps.
but...it was before your posts !
Would it really bring some worth sound improvements for a TH-30 head ? I am playing stoner metal with this head and I am curious.

Re: Should I get the OR15H?
Hi,
Orange CR120 (solid state amp 120 W) is a cheap and an excellent alternative for Rockerverb.
I pair it with a 2x12" V30 cab for playing stoner metal & sludge rock.
Try it or tube it, you'll see: awesome.

Re: Should I get the OR15H?
Hi,
I'be been in the same situation for trying to select the right head to play some loud stoner/sludge stuff in rehearsals.
I now have a CR120H which represents a perfect & cheap option. Try it !

Re: NAD! ....CR120
I even played my CR120 head instead of my TH-30 in live sessions (clubs or small venues), believe me, this head sounded awesome with different 2x12 or 4x12 cabs :) A light weight, a classic orange head look, pure clean and dirty tones, no fear of valve failure issues,.... just test it and keep it !!!

Re: New NAMM Gear
it was only an example and I know that hybrid amps have been previously released by other concurrents.
What I meant is that I was much more excited when Orange launched new lunchbox-sized hybrid/valve heads (TT, DT, MT, MD,...) or s-s CR series.

Re: New NAMM Gear
a bit disappointed...2 pedals, bass...headphones... Orange now proposes pretty conventional products (made in Far East plants like others and that will probably be too pricy)
Where is the originality ? I was expecting some more exciting and pioneer products such as >20 W hybrid amps
