When I had my RV50, the cleans were pretty good. Not Fender clean, of course, but a darker clean.

I own a Fender Tele and a Gibson LP and use the LP 95% of the time. Would I buy another Gibson? No...there are better alternatives in MY opinion.

Looks cool but for ME, I would never buy another Gibson. I would go with a Heritage first.

Did you have a cell phone near it going off? It happened to my amp the other day.

The diode that was replaced was a $5 part and labor/part was covered under warranty. The tech I dropped it off to had the amp for a month!! Part of that was the tech's fault.

I had the same problem with my Rockerverb amp when I had it. It turned out to be a bad diode. A tech fixed it for me since I don't know what I am doing with the insides of an amp.
