Orange Rocker 30 recorded tones - my band
Thought I'd let you guys hear what a Rocker 30 can do with a decent push from a Maxon OD808. An yes, I apologize for the shameless self-promotion. Panned right is my guitar. It's an ESP LTD MH1000 with Bare Knuckle Pickups Nailbomb in the bridge, VHII in the neck, into a MXR KFK1 EQ -> Maxon ...

Re: Rocker 15! Wow!
I gotta say, except for the 2x10" speakers, the Rocker 32 looks like a real winner!

Re: NGA
One of the icons reminds me of some compression related stuff. Are Orange releasing a compressor, perhaps? Seems odd.

Re: Big Muff with Orange CR120h
You've got the pedal as well? If yes, why not just try stuff out and listen to your ears? Try it with the amp clean/dirty. Completely agree with this. Pedal on the floor, amp on the cab, guitar in hand, then bend on one knee while playing with the band and start making adjustments. The Big Muff is ...

Re: Boss Katana 100 review (Sorry for the non-Orange content
I would love to try one. Where I am, fat chance that any store will stock them. That's unfortunate, too, because I am entirely skeptical of Boss overdrives, distortions and amp models. To me, their top-tier modelers have always sounded dry, compressed and slightly muted - no touch sensitivity. The ...

Re: Boss Katana 100 review (Sorry for the non-Orange content
To be honest, from all the reviews I read, solid state stuff has improved tremendously in the last few years. I suppose I should give some a try to see for myself. Yes, but only in the last few years. In my opinion, the previous Crush series - the one that included the 35LDX was kinda crap. I had o...

Boss Katana 100 review (Sorry for the non-Orange content!)
I just bought a Boss Katana 100 last week, when I had to return my faulty Blackstar HT-5R and the store didn't have anymore in stock. It's a 100 watt, 1x12" solid state combo with digital effects. What I just wrote would normally have my former self running away screaming, but boy, let me tell you, ...

Re: Rocker 30 serial numbers
I sold my TH100 a couple months after getting the Rocker 30. The two-band EQ on the TH100 was good, but the natural channel on the Rocker 30 just sounds way better on it's own - more 3-dimensional. I give it a little kick with a T-Rex Møller overdrive, but a much lighter kick that I gave the TH100 w...

Re: TH30 users - what pedals work for you
If the TH30 is anything like the TH100, then I'll just chime in... I had the TH100. I've used several different Big Muffs, a Pharaoh Fuzz, a MXR Sub Machine, T-Rex Møller and Muchoney II, BB Preamp clone and OCD clone - all on the clean channel, and I think they all sounded great. The clean channel ...

Re: Help me assemble a pedalboard for my TH30!!!
I would put them in this order: Wah -> Big Muff -> Alberta - Note that your Alberta is buffered, and fuzz pedals don't like buffer in front of them. Also, if your wah is a Cry Baby GCB95, you should have it modded for true bypass. The buffer in the GCB95 is a piece of garbage, so besides messing wit...

Re: Dark amp or something wrong? OR-15
Are you running your signal through a sea of true bypass pedals or do you have something to buffer the signal?

Re: Am I making a mistake?
Those Vox AC15H and AC30H look really cool, although they lack the classic look of the combos. I wonder how well they perform with a PPC212 open back cab with Vintage 30's?

Re: Am I making a mistake?
...Another option to go with is the new Vox heads, they got a 15 and 30 available... What? Vox heads? Gotta check those out. Nighttrain? AC? I just visited my local store yesterday and played both a Fender Bassbreaker 15 and a Vox AC15C1. I gotta say, I liked the AC15C1 much better. The Bassbreaker...

Re: Am I making a mistake?
I think the Bassbreaker series isn´t the classic Fender tone series. Beside a Hot Rod or Blues Deluxe I highly recommend the Ibanez TSA15H which is a fantastic fenderish sounding amp at an unbelievable price. Think about the sound of a Princeton Reverb or Deluxe Reverb, that´s what this small Ibane...
