On closer inspection my metal corners do not look like Andy's. One corner is loose enough to see the original pin holes underneath as Gladmarr predicted. I'll have to create a photo bucket account or something similar to post photos when I'm more awake, as I traveled from Europe today.

At some point, the previous owner appears to have replaced the original black corners with bare metal ones. Any idea where I might find replacements? I'm not sure if the current corners are the same. Thanks.
