Re: Orange on AmpliTube

Actually, Amplitube already had Orange models for a while now... I think the novelty is that now it is available for iOs. I had Amplitube in my Mac, and the Orange stuff sound cool (specially the AD 30 model). And yes, at least in the computer software, you can try out and purchase singular Orange ...

Re: How do you string your acoustics?/

What is the consensus on Guild acoustics,btw?/ 8) Guild D-25 user here. For me, Guild's are aggressive rock and roll acoustics. In general, Guilds are loud and record better than most other acoustics (my opinion, of course) for the music I play. I've tried Gibson's, Martins, Taylors, Takamine, etc....

Re: OR15 in black tolex......Anybody sell these?

How do you cut the tolex straight and at the correct length for the seam on the bottom of the box? In my experience, a lot of amp / cabinet manufacturers use hot animal glue to tolex cabinets. This glue has a fairly long 'tack' time which allows for the manipulation of the tolex for maybe 10-20 min...

Re: I'm dreaming of an...

Looks scary, I'd be scared to turn the amp on. Nice Gretsch, which model is it, Streamliner? No problem playing the Orange while standing in for a tree!!! :D The Gretsch is a September 1964 Chet Adkins 6120 Double Cut. It's not 100% original (tuners have been swapped out), but it's a sweet player -...

Re: I want an Orange guitar cable

I was looking at the site, and it doesn't have any info on the different models. Not to mention I have no idea what dealers have them (and very few do it seems). I did find two at Thomann, but I want the one with a 90 degree jack on one side, which they don't carry. I don't have any direct experien...

Worthy Musical Cause Needs Our Help (Not exactly Orange)

Hello, Billy, if this outside of the board rules, please feel free to delete.. Denny Tedesco is looking for help to bring an amazing piece of music history in the form of a documentary to the public at large. I've seen this film in private screenings a number of times and it's truly an amazing story...

Re: Whats a good recording app for iPhone?

Here's a VERY quick, rough impromptu iRig sample i just now cut using my iPhone. It's only one guitar track and a very quickly assembled drum track, mixed to a two track and then exported via email. Total time from plugging in my guitar to exporting... less than 15 minutes - most of that time was as...

Re: How to get more gain out of my rockerverb 100

Folks need to remember that when playing in a band, whether that be live or in a studio, you MUST carve out sonic spaces for ALL of your instruments. This is what a good FOH guy or engineer/mixer will do. A band is not made up of a bunch of guys with amazing individual tone all competing to be the b...

Re: Whats a good recording app for iPhone?

Finally broke down and got a smart phone, long story short, I dont have internet at home and for some reason my JamVox interface is not being recognized by my ancient Mac anymore( after countless attempts to uninstall and reinstall the software). Anyway, I see they have the iRig interface to hook u...

Re: Orange footswitch too big... or is it?

I've been trolling around on the forum a bit over the past couple months. This is my 1st thread start. Anyway, I finally decided my footswitch was too big. So I spent a couple hours with a demel and my Orange pedal is now a Rang pedal. Thought I'd share. :D Very interesting idea! I got around the O...

Rocker 30C giving up the ghost...

While at rehearsal last night, my Rocker30C would intermittently go into a hyper treble sound mode as if a high pass filter was being applied - losing most of it's bass frequencies and also becoming somewhat more distorted (natural channel in this ...

Yeah, I got the pics. It looks great. Much appreciated. Anyways, could you agree to settle at [$$$$] + shipping/insurance?
