Re: Boosting the dirty channel?

When I owned a TH30 I boosted it with an EQ-pedal in front of the amp. It had a slider for volume that I pushed quite hard and I put the rest of the EQ as "pig nose" with the the mids really boosted. It worked really well for me. At some point I sold the amp as well as that pedal and nowadays I have...

Re: A very "orange" gig...

Cool But I really want one of them tele's.......where can I get one ! That Tele is a FSR (Factory Special Run) and was only made in limited numbers. You could check eBay and Craigslist for Fender Telecaster FSR Custom SOT, but also keep an eye open for the Telecaster Deluxe Black Dove which is pret...

A very "orange" gig...

I played at a festival last weekend and decided that my PPC412 was to bulky to bring on the road. Instead a brought my PPC112 and the case I bought for I recently. Pretty convenient for transport and also to put the cabinet on top of to get it on a better level from the floor. Sounded really awesome...

Re: Orange combo/cab + head combination for post-metal?

That's the kind of my music that I also play :) For this I use a Rockerverb MK I 50 W head + PPC 412 and it sounds really great. It's got the texture to give a very full sound aswell as the punch to cut through, when needed. I use it with a lot of different stompboxes, but the rhythm sound is 95% of...

Re: NRD - New Record Day :) (Orange content, of course)

Thats some quality recordings you got going on there. I have a really old philips High-fi pre amp with 2 aktive 545 MFB-studio speakers and they really enjoyed the spread. I really like the toms, wide spread, way back and dry but in total they seem really wet. The whole productions just really brea...

Congrats! Nothing like getting that completed, I imagine. Can't go wrong with RV50 MK1. Great amp. 8) Thanks, man :) It's really a nice feeling to have it released and it will feel great when I'll hold the vinyl version in my hands, in a couple of weeks! I really love that amp! NRD - New Record Day :) (Orange content, of course)

Maybe it's a bit off topic but I'm really happy that my band released our debut album online! It's actually quite Orange related in a way as all distorted guitars, aswell as distorted bass tracks, were recorded with my RV50 MK I + PPC412 :) I hope someone find it interesting enough to give it a list...
