If you have did it improve the sound much?It already sounds great but Im wondering if some nice nos tubes would take it to another level?

Its a 50 sounds great!Cabs are early 70's.

Worked perfect at full volume for a few hours at rehearsal!

I tightened the things that grip the pins in the tube socket.This seems to have solved it even at louder volumes.We will see how it goes.

It happened again.It was fine for an hour then I turned the Volume all the way up and the gain down and slowly turned up the gain and it started humming then made a horrible noise and the back fuse blew.I think the tube socket is arc'ing out.Im gonna clean it out.

Fixed?!Stuck a new fuse in and it works fine?It had a 500ma instead of a 250ma and I couldnt find a 250ma at radio shack but they did have a 500ma.Maybe the tube was a little loose?Anyway works great for now and it souded really great at half power as well!

One of the lights came on on the back for the output valve failure fuses.If I did blow a tube should I play at 8 ohms for a 16 ohm cab until I retube?Any suggestions of a good replacement 6V6?The amp is 3 days old and sounds fantastic.
