Re: questions not been answered !
This is probably the wrong forum to complain about Orange service. You might try their Facebook page or this forum: https://orangeampforum.com/index.php

Re: Why/how did the forum lose its popularity?
Personally don't like FB for group discussions. It's not just group members that see your posts. I never have anything to hide, but it's a bit weird when someone you know starts asking about your discussions in a FB group you're part of and they know nothing about it. Everybody and their mother is ...

Interesting. Their passwords are not secure. If you join, use something unique to that site. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/insecure-password-warning-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct Not a secure site. That site needs an SSL Cert. Standard practice. Don't use your common login names and pass...

Re: ALL GOOD THINGS....
Be careful with the alternate forum. There is no way to ascertain who owns it or is behind it as it's a domain by proxy to hide who really owns it. My concern would be it's a phishing site. The admin there is a legitimate Orange enthusiast. As for being a domain by proxy, that's not uncommon. Take ...

New Orange Forum!
Well not that new apparently. Seems it's been around over a year just never publicized. Looks promising. The rules are simple enough and you can advertise stuff for sale.

I suspected the same thing but figured Billy would ban me again if I testing the theory...
Based on Orange's history, it could be a long time before the forum actually gets locked. I just hope they leave the search function intact.

I had the same problem on my AD15's gain pot. It was a bad pot. PITA to replace. Send it back if it's still under warranty.

Re: Dark Terror suddenly gone silent ...
If the heater element shorted and blew a fuse why would the power tubes still be glowing... :? Because the heater circuit is separate from the HT and it only takes 500 milliamps to blow the HT fuse so it would go first. It's the separate circuits that makes me wonder. How does a surge in current on...
