My guess is that the connection fails on the splicer on V5 - otherwise both EL34 would warm up.

It could be something totally different of course.
Looks like your diagnosis is spot on to me.

Re: RV50H MKII Problems (Long story)

It's within the realm of possibility that the magnetic polarity of one of the speakers could be reversed. It's also possible one of the speakers is dead. (In series/parallel, a dead speaker will silence its paired speaker too, but the paired speaker may still be healthy.) So a 9v battery test is ca...

Re: RV50H MKII Problems (Long story)

White wire from jack goes to speaker 1's positive. Speaker 1's negative goes to speaker 2's positive. Speaker 2's negative goes to the black-stripe jack wire. (Top pair in series.) Parallel white goes from speaker 1's positive to speaker 3's positive. Speaker 3's negative goes to speaker 4's positi...

Re: RV50H MKII Problems (Long story)

The cab looks like it's wired in series parallel to me. So no problem with impedance. Can't really tell if it's in phase or not from the photos. Need a diagram.

Edit: After a second look it appears the phase is correct too. Would help confirm if we could see exactly where the white/black wires go.

Re: Micro crush don't turn on after one year not used

I will try to clean jack input as other answrr suggest, but I don't get why the works with battery and not with power supply... Are you sure the power supply is correct for the amp? Some of those amps are center positive and some center negative. If it's the correct power supply then it must a bad ...

I'm not sure how to sell such an expensive item. Craigslist? eBay? (I never use eBay).
Whatever you do make sure and post a link here... 8)

Yeah I know what they look like I just cant see it anywhere on the outer casing. if there is one its inside somewhere.
Probably not one. It's an easy re-wiring job though. Several threads here about how to do it.

I put the tube shields back on, and plugged the amp into a Furman power conditioner. I still have really loud RF interference. I tried using both a 10' and 20' cable, and it was the same.
That's weird. AM or FM stations? :-)

Re: Micro Terror cable question

Interesting... From what I can tell the micro terror uses an AC adapter with an output of 15 volts DC at 2 amps with a center-positive connector. No fuse required.
