All input jacks on the Orange bass cabs are wired in parallell. Using good speaker cable (ie sufficient gauge wire) will likely not do anything to your sound when daisychaining. Look no further than Orange. Both the 4x10 and 1x15 are 8 ohms. Infact I think 8 ohms is the common value for many Ampeg cabs also.

If you really like the 4x10 then I can't see why it would'nt be a good idea. Personally I would think two tweeters is too much (maybe cut one off?). I like the extra oompf you get from a 1x15" though. I'm also the kind of person who rather bring my OBC15 to a small gig than my OBC 410.

At which point (gain and master) does it distort badly? The MK3 is supposedly more high gain with an extra preamp tube. How does it distort?
