Ugh...the power tubes aren't that old :-( Is that typical with power tubes...getting a "falling out" of volume, and increased top end rasp after they really warm up if they are about to go? Also...how does one bias this thing? Should I buy a Weber Bias thing, and do it myself? I have no good amp tec...

Amp sounds great...nice, fat, smooth, clear...for about an hour or so into band practice... Then, at some point, it loses bass, and gets all "gravely" and grainy sounding (high end becomes raspy). I've unplugged FX loop, etc and plugged the guitar straight in, and it still sounds wrong. Is this a pr...

Hi guys, been REAL busy lately, but I _do_ have new clips!! We recorded practice the other week, and I got a rough mix. (no overdubs, etc). I wish our sound guy would have EQ'd the guitar a little bit better, but it is 100% dry--no post EQ--other than he ran some sort of slight stereo delay to spati...

Hey Chris! they are not "that" hot...it's a regular "duncan custom" humbucker (ceramic magnet) in the bridge. I think the neck pickup is an Anderson SA1-. On the amp... bass was 100%, mids at 10:45, treble at 12:30 (I think), gain at 2:00. I hate that wah...it can be easily used as a crutch, but it ...

$70! !!! LOL :-) I like the construction and it doesn't suck tone, but the range seems wierd...all the "wah" part happens in a very narrow part of the travel, and on one side it's all bass, and the other side it's all treble (and not quite enough treble). I wonder if I dare mod it. It was like $239 ...

Try GHS boomer 10's? My main guitar I still string with 9's and it has a long scale length...it's a total POS Electra X155, and the 9's give it that upper end crispness. my other guitar (which I use at gigs because it cuts a bit better) has 10's, but it's a much lighter guitar with semi-hollow ash b...
