I have an Electromatic too. Just got it. I like the master volume idea but the knobs positioning takes a little getting used to. They seem to have put them wherever there is space.

I actually just bought a few kits to insulate the windows in my house. It comes with really thin two sided tape. I should have left overs. Looks like it should work great.

Oh! I get it now. I took it the other way.

That Gretsch is awesome. I really like the look of the Jet City rig too. They look much better without the purple tolex section I've seen on some of them. there's not really much you're going to be able to do to the RV50's clean channel to get any kind of overdrive. at least in my opinion. It just stays too clean and doesn't really play well with OD pedals. I had more luck driving the OD channel with a pedal to get more gain. Other's opinions may vary...

I think getting it pinned is a pretty easy procedure for a good luthier. I would never do it myself.
