Re: What's up with this reissue OR120?

Thanks gladmarr! I was curious about the spacers as well, but everything is functioning normally. Having owned a few green matamps, I knew that they did use old parts to make "new" amps so I figured that was a high possibility. The amp sounds normal and other than some scratchy pots everything funct...

Re: What's up with this reissue OR120?

Thanks billy! Located in California and picked it up on eBay with a really nice hardshell case. It shipped out of Oregon and the owner said he's had it for about 12 years. Never seen one like this and I enjoy doing my research on gear and orange amps specifically. Being assembled from leftover parts...

What's up with this reissue OR120?

Picked up this orange OR120, but it's got some odd qualities about it. It appears to be a reissue for all intents and purposes, but there's some stuff I've never seen. So here's a list of questionable things : in the font, the "A" and "N" are thicker like the vintage 70s amps and not skinny like on ...

Re: 1971 Orange 4x12 / Rare logo ?

Awesome looking cab! I have a very similar one which I posted on here a few years ago. https://forum.orangeamps.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=47059" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Mine is a little more rough and has the later metal handles and the speakers were changed out. Mine has the cre...

Re: Early 70s 412 cab?

Thanks! Yeah, I've only seen one other with that logo and it was here on the forum. Was just curious if there was a more specific timeline when that logo was used. Definitely a keeper though. Makes my 73 OR80 sound fantastic. Would it have had g12h or the square magnet eminence?

Early 70s 412 cab?

Bought this 70s 412 used not too long ago. Doesn't have original speakers, so I can't use the date codes, but it seems to be early 70s post matamp era. Maybe 71 or 72? It weighs a ton and sounds great with the eminence speakers I put in. Came with 1984 g12t75 15ohm vented magnet speakers in it when ...
