As far as i'm aware the AD140htc has a fixed bias, i presume this means you can put them straight in without a tweak, don't quote me on that, i've never biased mine and I use it everyday at near full volume for the past 3 years....hope someone can shed me some light on the subject also!!

the electro harmonix big muff pi is awsome on the ad140, everything on full, with gain half way, even the pedal (but back off on the treble) then if you have a les paul type, select the bridge pickup (emg 81's are cool to use) and downtune to drop 'A' you can get a real stoner rock sound that beats ...
