I agree that the OR is more suited for heavy stuff. I love my Rockerverb, but i was thinking about going towards the new OR or TV... I think those fit my style better than the RV... That being said, I'm just happy to own an Orange, no matter what model!

Get Led Zeppelin III and other Zep some throughout their albums and try to learn them... That will teach you everything you need to know about open tunings... That's what i did. As well as The Black Crowes... Some of their stuff sounds super complicated, but it's easy as pie with open tuning.

I hear ya, but i do like the sound of these compared to the 40th anny version... but maybe i could swing an OR50 with 4x12 instead of 2 & a ES-339 with the funds... I know all best will be off when Gibson re-releases the Grohl 335. Tough.
