Cheers for the help!

Would you recommend changing the pre-tubes now, along with the power tubes?

Basially, the EL34s in my OTR "120" (labelled OTR 80 but as it has 4 EL34s i assume it is a modded 80/mis-labelled 80) have been in for a fair old whack (year and a half) now they likely as not need replacing... Before I do/buy anything, what needs doing? 1) I assume the amp needs Biasing? 2) The sp...

Just like to say the OTR 80 link to the BBC website is no longer working. A more up to date sample can be found at www.myspace.com/thejunglists. All the guitar is a Strat straight into the orange. The OTR 80 combo also appears to be a wrongly labeled 120. Cheers.

However all the material on www.myspace.com/thejunglists was recorded with a strat straight into the OTR 120. I have some clean clips which i can h...

Fender Strat straight into an OTR 80 combo: Twice, (once a sort of punky sound - FAC toward the left, gain 2 o clock, bridge pick-up, the second, something a bit more ballsy - fac towards the right neck pick-up) this is an unmastered monitor mix and i'm going to cheakily send you to the BBC as i don...

After reading various internet rumours, and not being much of a technician i was wondering if my amp is "plugged in" wrongly. There is a little coin adjustable Ohm selector which has 4/8/16 on it, its currently on 8. Both the speakers are plugged into output one of two and they are 8 Ohm celestion v...

Ok i'm thinking of buying an orange Ad30r or tc combo, which isn't important at the moment (though feel free to give your 2 cents) but i have a few questions in general about Orange. Firstly, how often (and for what expense) are tubes likely to go? Do Orange insist retailers sell the amp for rrp? I ...
