Re: How loud is 30 watts? Rocker question
Because Orange hog the lower mids, you will cut through any mix. Most other amps don't really deal with lower mids, and most bass players EQ them out (because those bass players are retarded). I have never had to push my AD30 or Rocker 30 past 9 o'clock in practice or gigs. ditto - my R30 combo's v...

C30 is a good amp - had one for a 'leave at the practice space amp' a while ago - ended up selling it - R30 combo rules the roost, now

Re: Advice re TH30 and how it compares to Rocker 30
ditto on the Rocker's clean channel having enough juice - my drummer and bassist are animals and the clean at 3 - 4 o'clock gets thru, no problem when I first got the amp and played it at home alone, I didn't think it would do the trick - but it does, a-la-plenty! maybe it's the hot h-buckers in my ...

Re: Wireless users - what batteries do you use?
I tried rechargables - they die without any warning - with regular batteries the output slowly decreases, so I can always finish the set

Re: Getting some of that "good" feedback? Suggestions?
My Tele and twin won't feedback easily at all - even if I'm right next to the speakers it'll only come on slowly. So those parts where I want to swell-in to feedback, or just ring a chord and leave it ringing, i stamp on a Boss SD1 - feedback starts easily and I can stamp it off right as I start pl...

also, my #1 guitar is a LP Classic - pretty much a Standard with hotter pickups - but my stock '67 Tele does it too - maybe I have to bump up the gain a hair

my R30 gives out that sweeeeeeeet feedback with gain at 1 o'clock and volume pretty much anywhere - usually from 9 - 10 o'clock
I use a Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive to get into super howling screaming feedback territory also

Re: dual terror vs rocker 30 vs rockerverb 50 MKI
Rocker 30 Combo owner here - It probably is the last amp I'll ever buy - very amazing the clean channel, at about 2 o'clock, is glorious - sometimes I forget that it's not the dirty channel I generally use the dirty channel - volume at 10 o'clock, gain at 1 -2 o'clock I usually switch to the clean c...

hmm, possibly. maybe because it's just one of them. usually folks try pairing Oranges with the Marshall 1960 cabs that come loaded with the G12T75s. actually, i can't recall anyone trying it in a 112 combo. very interesting...glad you like it. does it sound good live? live is where it really shines -
