If the new AD5's are as good as my PCB model they are worth every penny, i see that Thomann has one for 276 Pounds with free delivery to UK.
Hopefully Orange has removed the metal plate that caused mine to rattle.

Hi, i just bought a Washburn guitar and decided to look at their forum, which incidentally is the same format as the Orange forum. They have a very good page showing instructions for posting photos, maybe one of the boffins here could do the same thing and it could be kept at the top of the Communit...

Does anybody know anything about the playability of Gigliotti guitars? I recently saw a video of Joe Bonamassa playing a beautiful looking telecaster shaped Gigliotti guitar. I'd really like to hear any reviews or comments about them. If you haven't already heard about them, have a look at their sit...

I recently sold my 79 Les Paul Custom and made my wife very happy by buying her a new kitchen table & 6 chairs, admittedly the table is useless plugged into the Orange but it really comes into its own at meal times!

Hi Bink,
Since removing the metal plate the overall sound of the combo has improved significantly so at the end of the day it isn't too far from the AD15 sound i originally wanted, and fully cranked it is still relatively house (detached) friendly.
Cheers, Bruce

I am happy to report that removing the metal plate has solved the problem and the rattle has thankfully gone.

For the techy people out there, the AD5 valves are EL84 & ECC83.

Can anybody unlock the trick to inserting some photos, i'm sure the answer is here but i can't find it.......

Hello Andy H, many thanks for taking the time to explain that, which sadly mostly went flying over my head, but what i did understand is good to know and i'm just happy that somebody understands it!
