Re: Picking hand finger pain
Anything you have done differently as of late? Possibly you have tendinitis? Is there irritation in anything besides playing. Not done anything else differently. I have noticed that my wrist and index finger/thumb on my right hand have started to ache a bit when I do long drives and I have to just ...

Picking hand finger pain
Recently the index finger on my picking hand has been causing me a ton of pain when playing, to the point where we had to stop practice early last night because it felt like I was gonna snap the finger in half if I played any more! I hold the pick the way I was taught when I was younger, which is th...

I found this. An AD50, and it looks like the other one says Custom 50?

Re: Orange cab caster install
Yeh? So now you just need to get yourself some wood and attach the casters to it to make something like this:Orangesoda wrote:Does sound good. But I already bought em and they were already sent out. Hmmmmmm

Re: Orange cab caster install
My advice would be to just get a slab of wood and screw the casters in to that to make a dolly. No damage to the cab, you can take it off the dolly to have the skids in contact with the stage and you can reuse the dolly for other bits of gear when you're loading out.

Re: NCD! Matamp compact 4x12
Thanks a lot man. Yeh, it was all done with just the guitar straight into the Rocker then a mix of the PPC212 cab with Vintage 30s and a Marshall 1x12 Haze cab that sounds surprisingly good!Dave666 wrote:Did you use the Rocker for the recordings? It sounds like you did. cool sound!

Re: NCD! Matamp compact 4x12
Here's a photo of the cab with my PPC212 and Rocker 30, for size comparison.
I used it at a small club show the other night with the 2x12 as well, and the volume and gain on the Rocker 30 at 12 o'clock. It was loud.

I haven't posted in a while but thought you guys would be interested in my new purchase! https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/534620_10151059264956511_1449503455_n.jpg It's smaller than a normal 4x12 (26 x 26 x 15 inches), almost exactly the same as the new Orange compact PPC412. Re: Vox AmPlug
Can't speak for the amplug, but I can recommend the Traynor Quarter horse. Sounds freakin sweet and very versatile, size of a pedal, reverb, tremelo, two channels. http://www.traynoramps.com/products.asp?type=4&cat=56&id=439 More pricey then the Amplug, but worth it I think. Or if you have an iPhon...

Anyone used one? Any good? I've just moved to a new flat and I don't think my neighbours would appreciate my Rocker 30 too much, regardless of how good it sounds! I thought that using one of these with either headphones or in to some small speakers would work quite well as a substitute for using pod...

Re: OR15 Demo from Chappers Online Now!
I think that I'll never hear that amp because rob Chapman is an insufferable egomaniac who's videos I won't watch. Sorry but you guys should just drop that guy. This. Exactly. I've been waiting so long to hear this amp and was considering getting one but I can't sit through any more of this guys vi...

Re: Tell me how you would get there.
Mess around with having the wah set permanently midway somewhere; I reckon if you find a sweet spot it could be along the right lines if used with a relatively low gain OD like OU818 said.Thinline_slim wrote:Good points! I forgot to say I did have a wah. Really trying to get the dirt tone somehow.jackincaves wrote:Wah + Octavia?

There isn't one that I know of. I recommend visiting Denmark Street though.
