Re: Orange Bass Terror and cab ratings.
If you want to use a 1200w amp through your SP212, i'd advise you to be very careful with the volume knob, i can assure you the TB500 can kill the cab quite easily, i know from experience :? . I have used mine through a quite a few different cabs now and have only ever had a poor sound from one (a L...

Re: Orange TB500 Volume Question
I think it wouldn't have been a bad idea if Orange had built a limiter into the TB as most other manufacturers do these days, at least if you see that little led flashing you know to turn down, it would probably save a lot of speakers.... (don't ask how i know... )

Re: extension sp cabs
I use my sp212 on top of a 1x15, no problems with cabs moving but the TB needs an astroturf mat under it to stop it moving around on the top of the sp212. Mind you, we play cranked right up .

Re: TV200 matching cab
For what it's worth our guitarist runs a tv200 and contacted Orange uk about this, he has a couple of standard Orange 4x12's and they told him under no circumstances to run the TV @ 200W through 1 standard 4x12 on its own or "you WILL kill your cab" , hence he only runs it at half power thro...

Re: N.G.D tokai love rock
Not sure to be honest, have a look on the Tokai Registry there may be something on there that will help. Worth a look at least.

Re: N.G.D tokai love rock
Very nice , i have a 1984 Tokai Jazz & a new Thunderbird copy, world of difference between them but the Thunderbird isn't a bad bass by any means certainly punches well above it's price tag.

Re: parcel for me
I am chuffed with it :) , i don't know if my playing warrants it mind you  , weight is not too bad around the 50kilo mark (the speakers are custom neodymiums) soundwise, i'll find out at practice tomorrow, Matamp say they are voiced to sound like 1970's Electro Voice speakers. It's rated to han...

Re: Terror Bass 1000 - Is it issue free?
I've been very happy with my TB500 & was looking forward to the bigger version but when i i rang Matamp last week to pay for my new 6x10 upon telling them what i was going to run through it, i was told "Oh you'll only have that a few more weeks." "Oh, how's that then, do you fancy chucking in a free...

Re: Great bands you've discovered recently...
Saw these a couple of months ago supporting Corrosion of Conformity & was well impressed, they've been around a while but new to me, & Bill Steer on lead no less.
