Rockerverb 50 Dirty low volume

Hi, just got a used Rockerverb 50 combo, that has been serviced.

I just love the clean tone, but have issues with my dirty channel. To match the clean i have to turn the master almost full and the drive to. Until 12:00 there is almost no drive at all, and them around 1:00 it opens up, but still really does so if i have a guitar with hot pickups and or booster in front of it.

Is this normal or is it a problem? Should there be almost no drive until 12:00 on the dirty channel gain. Btw have to crank the master to get something that might be called high gain.

Hi Esers. Could be a preamp valve failure in that channel. A little simple valve swapping will tell you if that is the problem.
