With those settings, I can't see how you're not cutting. It's a mid heavy amp and although dark, your extreme treble makes up for that. What kind of cab are you using?

im running through a pretty crappy cab right now. Its the one that comes with the marshall AVT. I'm just using this one untill later this week when im gonna get my Dr. Z z-best cab. I know its a pretty bad cab but i don't think it would make THAT much of a difference. Would it? Oh and sorry if i sounded like an idiot right there. I'm new to amps. For the first 4 years of my playing, ive been playing through a line 6 pod pro rack and computer speakers haha. Talk about being desperate to play guitar.

Yes, a cab can make a pretty big difference. With speaker choices, number of speakers, construction(open back, closed back), materials, so many variables. I can certainly tell between the cabs I use. And I agree with Blackcloud... treble boosters are great with dark amps.

Get over it man , you are not going to cut through the mix with any Orange amp I have played.I love the Orange tone but that is as far as it goes.I play my Fender or my Marshall live.

lolcopter!

the rocker 30 not only cuts through a mix but it twists the knife sideways through the spine of the mix while digging a steelcapped boot through the throat of the mix and doing lascivious deeds with the mix's mother...

my guess is that it's PEBGAA*

Also, try a treble booster like the Beano Boost by Analogman...

Sure you can try it, but it's not a good solution, since a treble booster doesn't boost your treble. It colors the tone quite bit, cuts bass, cuts highs, and boosts mids, high mids and adds about the same amount of overdrive as a tube screamer.
If that's what you want, sure, go for it. You will cut through though.
Any suggestions? As for right now, my amp sounds like it has a pillow in front of the speakers.

Clean or driven sound?

If dirty, you really shouldn't be having any problems. The EMGs don't fit best with Oranges, but they should be OKish. Humbuckers are already dark sounding.

What sort of volumes and tones are the rest of your band playing at? You may all simply be sitting in the same tonal area. Roll right back on the mids, all the way up on the treble, and see what happens. Make sure you are playing at a volume level which is a little less than the vocals.

For me, I use an RV50c plus an additional PPC212OB cab running a 1958 VOS Les Paul and various pedals.

The clean channel cuts through superbly, however, due to the compression on the OD channel, I find that you need to run the volume higher on channel 2.

On the settings side, I've found a really good EQ that cuts through the mix perfectly:

Gain - 5.5
Bass - 6
Middle - 7
Treble - between 9 and 11 to suit venue
Volume - Usually between 4 and 5.5 again depending on venue.

For solo boosts, I use an MXR Micro amp in the FX loop with the dial just under half way.

Think I am on the loose damping setting.

Turn up your volume! [:p]

You're not going to know squat about what you've got until you get your Z best. You'll find it has a lot more presence than Orange cabs and is less directional in nature due to it's construction. Whenever I think my Orange PPC 4x12 isn't cutting through, I go stand right in front of the cab about 10-12 feet out. Then I know I am cutting through. I think that would be the ideal place to mic an Orange cab, if possible, but that's tough - especially live. Point is - cabs and speakers make all the difference in the world. Let's see what you've got coming.....
