Any one use Avatar cabs with their Orange amps..

...with 2x12 vintage 30's ? I have an Avatar cab with 2 Alnico Blues that sounds great with my Fenders and Voxes; haven't tried my Rockerverb 50 yet.

I'm using my sons 4x12 Slash sinature cabinetand am looking for a 2x12 cabinet. Any other ideas ? Thank you.

I have an open back 2x12 with vintage 30's and a closed back 2x12 w/ g12h30's. I couldn't be happier with them. The absolute best bang for buck cabinet you will find.

I've never cared for the V30s. I like some other Cels, but not the V30s. The Emi combo below is the best I've found for use in my Orange. Avatar cab which rocks.

For the money they cannot be beat!
I personally like the Celestion V30
and G12H30 combination.

Are you generally using both cabs together or separate? Why did you choose the speakers and cabinet combinations that you did ? How would you desribe the difference in sound between your cabs?What gives you the best clean sound? Thank you.

I hate the fact you cant get Avitar cabs in the UK, it would be like Ã‚Â£250 for a 4x12 with greenbacks or 100's in. Sucks to be English sometimes.

One of the guitarists in the band my sons are in has a Blues Jr that he wants to sell to buy a Tiny Terror. He's not sure what to do for speakers. He has a homemade cabinet with two Emminece 12" speakers that looks homemade and sound okay. He is debating whether to get an Avatar 1X12 with a decent Celestion and adding an Orange 212 later or using the homemade cab until he can afford the Orange 212. Any suggestions?
