Re: OR120 into a PPC212OB? Safe?
Thanks, everyone! This is basically the response I anticipated. I'm gonna see if running 2 power tubes works for me. It probably will. My drummer doesn't even like it when I turn my deluxe reverb up into distortion! 8) For reference, the other guitarist plays an AC30 turned up to output section grin...

Re: OR120 into a PPC212OB? Safe?
Yea, maybe. They used to load the 4x12s with g12h30s (30W) if I'm not mistaken. Though, we all know 100W plexis used to blow 4x12s with 25W g12m's...

OR120 into a PPC212OB? Safe?
Hi and happy turkey day! Also apologies in advance if this has been asked a bunch of times. I have an early 70s GRO100 / OR120 and I have been running it into an Orange PPC212OB with 2 V30s (rated at 120W). I've been running at lower/clean volumes and was curious if other people think it is safe to ...

Re: That switch in the new eastwood guitar...
I have a Curtis novak telecaster pickup which is hum canceling. I think he calls it the TEL-HC. It looks just like a telecaster pickup but has a split coil. Sounds pretty close, too, but has a bit of humbucker tone to it. Anyways, I like it a lot. I paired a firebird neck pickup with it and they bal...

Re: Fuzz EQ
I have an Earthquaker Devices Hoof fuzz, which I like quite a bit as a Muff-style fuzz with added mid-range control. EQD pedals are pretty affordable IMO. I have a BAT Pharaoh en route to my house right now too, which I can come back later to comment on. Based on demos and reviews at this site, the...

Re: Strymon Deco!
So when is the V2 timeline that includes the deco coming out?
Sounds really nice though! Let's see if the GAS builds, but so far I am not intrigued enough to get one. I do have a big sky and mobius, which are great.

Re: If you had to pick a single delay whadaya get?
I think I prefer digital delays, so I'm inclined to say- Strymon Timeline. I have a Empress VM Superdelay which is quite nice. As far as analog goes, I also enjoy my Diamond Memory Lane 2 for these types of questions, because it has 2 delay modes. I like a short slapback for beefing up solos, and a ...

If tuners don't count, add a fuzz. Muff style.. Maybe a nice fuzz face. So...indianDYsummer wrote:If tuners have to count, I would probably do:

-Delay (Diamond Memory Lane 2 probably)
EQD Hoof or my homemade germanium fuzz face.
