Re: Question about Vox AC30 and palmer box
For anyone that may be interested, Palmer just got back with me and told me to connect the box to the extension jack using a speaker cable, and that would do it.

Re: Question about Vox AC30 and palmer box
I've thought about running another cab, but I'd really like to mic the speakers in the amp, and run along side it. Been trying to call Palmer today and find out, with no luck. Looks like a trip to the tech!

Question about Vox AC30 and palmer box
Hi all, it's been a while since I've posted around here, been really busy playing. How's everyone been? My question is about the Vox AC30 C2X, and a Palmer PDI-09 direct box. To hook the palmer up to the amp, if I plug the palmer into the extension plug, and keep the impedance switch at 16 ohms (the...

Re: Building a rig.. Need suggestions.
Another bit of advice I would give: Find the amp that does the style you want to play regardless of whether it's "christian" or not, and don't worry so much about sounding exactly like Hillsong or whoever. Unless that's your goal, of course. I find gear that inspires me and I don't worry about sound...

Re: Building a rig.. Need suggestions.
I haven't played the other ones, but I do music at a church, and have played my R30 combo for a year and a half for it, and love it. I just bought a Vox AC30 this Saturday, and love it as well. Would recommend either!

Re: Thinking of buying a Sovtek Mig50
I have a Sovtek Mig 100, it is a loud beast! I payed 500 for it with a cheap 4x12. To be honest, I found it way too bass-y for my liking. Even with the bass all the way down. I actually use it for a bass amp at my apartment to practice on. Don't let that discourage you though, go and play it, you ma...

Re: lets have a list of everybodys gear
I've been on a gear acquisition spree the last few weeks, gotten another power supply, a few pedals, custom IEMs, and other crap. As far as my gear: Amps: Rocker 30 combo w/ Orange 2x12 Sovtek Mig 100 w/ some 4x12 Guitars: Gretsch Silver Falcon American St. Strat w/ lollar pickups MIM Tele Custom Sh...

I agree with Randy, not worth the price of admission at all. Whoever glued the headstock back on really should've just left it alone, it looks atrocious.

Re: Wireless revisited. Any preferences?
I've been using the rackmount line 6 wireless for a year or so now, and love it. Only thing is it eats batteries, but small price to pay to never step on a chord again!

Re: way off topic, but if you want to hear my girl troubles...
It sucks, but like they say, you need to move on and treat it like it's over. If she does come back, great. If she doesn't, then you'll be that much further down the recovery road. About a year and a half ago I was supposed to get married, and a week before the wedding my fiance decided she wanted t...

Ask to use their toilet and take an upper-decker. The most un-civil you can get before you have to get un-civil!

Re: Hilarious Amp Repair whoa's
Honestly my thoughts on the whole report while reading were that it was one huge troll, but who knows, the kid could be that slow-headed. I'm with Chinese though, I wouldn't think someone would lose 75% of their business over one bad internet report, especially if it were worded exactly like the kid...
