Re: eBay Fees?
I sold a DSL50 head on ebay last year. the guy left pos feedback stating everything was as described, amp works 100% with no issues. so that give me the go ahead to pay my fee's and use the money to buy something else. about 30 days later, the guy sent me a email stating the amp didn't work properly...

Re: OR15H with PPC108 cab?? (home use)
I use my OR15 with a slanted vertical 2x12 loaded with g12t-75's and I have no issues with low volumes. I can go from a little whisper all the way to ear bleeding levels with a turn of the knob

Re: JR Terror size?
The or100 and a 4x12 would be nice, but not practical for bedroom use. Way too LOUD!!! 15 watt terror and 1x12 = perfect bedroom amp.

Re: Oh Boy EBay blunder!
Unfortunately the same thing happened to me when I won my #4 terror. I low balled the crap out this guy and he took it. Winded up get a practically brand new Jim root for the same price of three new celestion g12t-75's. not a bad score if I say so myself.

Re: In Defense of Epiphone
I've never played a high end Gibson , but last year I bought a Gibson LP studio. I never really enjoyed playing that guitar so I sold it. Back in may I bought a Korean made epiphone zakk wylde buzzsaw LP, and I really enjoy playing it. I've been an ibanez man since 92. since I've bought the epi , I ...

Re: Can someone explain the differences....
i just checked guitar center web site and they have a couple OR15 for sale, just look in the used gear section. and as far as using the ebay, i buy gear all the time. i hav gotten shafted a couple of times. but with thier safe ebay policies, you have up to 45 days to issue a claim if the item is def...

Re: Can someone explain the differences....
Yes , the #4 has a better bass response. But the OR with is vintage voicing, would probably cut thru the mix a little better.

Re: Can someone explain the differences....
I have the #4 and recently sold my Dark Terror to fund my purchase of the OR15. The OR15 sounds nothing like the #4, they have their own voicing. I would say that the OR15 sounds closer to the DKT, but with a tad bit less gain and an added EQ. The OR15 is a great amp, and I'm glad I decided to get i...

Re: Question about the OR15
I did a side by side comparison between the #4 and the OR15 using the same cab, EQ setting, vol, and gain. I recorded both to determine if there is a noticeable diffence between the two, other than just doing a live A/B test. After replaying the recordings, there is a noticeable difference. The #4 h...

Re: Question about the OR15
Well I got my OR15 and all I can say is WOW! The stories about the OF15 sounding more like the #4 are false. They are two completely different sounding amps. I would say that the OR is closer to the DKT. Obviously the DKT has more gain , but the OR has a fuller/thicker tone. I was thinking the OR wo...

I know we are not allowed to mention pricing , I hope me using other items as a comparison was legal. If not just let me know and I'll edit my post.

Re: Question about the OR15
I was at work today, talkIng to a buddy about what I was wanting to buy. Turned out, he wanted to buy my DKT. So I sold him mine and turned around and bought the OR15 that I've been looking at. After all is said and done, I probably spent the price of a boss sd-1 and my DKT for the OR15. Not bad con...
